GCS supports Limerston Capital on its acquisition of Forensic Access

GCS (formerly GRAPH Strategy) is pleased to have provided Commercial Due Diligence to Limerston Capital on its acquisition of Forensic Access, a leading provider of forensic science services to the criminal justice system in the UK and internationally.

Headquartered in Wantage, Oxfordshire, Forensic Access was established in 1986 by Professor Angela Gallop to deliver high-quality forensic science and expert advice to police forces, legal professionals, and private sector clients. The company offers a comprehensive range of forensic capabilities, including firearms and ballistics, fingerprints, forensic biology and DNA, animal forensics, and a variety of niche medico-legal services.

The acquisition supports Limerston Capital’s strategy to build a leading international criminal justice services group, combining best-in-class forensic expertise with broader capabilities in national security and justice sector reform. Management and founders have retained a significant minority shareholding and will work with Limerston to accelerate the company’s growth organically and through strategic acquisitions.

GCS’s work focused on assessing Forensic Access’s market position, service differentiation, customer relationships, and growth opportunities within the UK and international forensic science markets.

The GCS team on the transaction was led by James Tetherton and Phil Craig.
