Business & Professional Services

Deep Expertise

Business & Professional Services remains one of the most attractive areas for investors seeking resilient, asset-light models with recurring demand. The sector spans a diverse set of people- and process-led businesses, from consulting and legal services to procurement frameworks, outsourcing, and specialist technical services.

What unites the most successful platforms is the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes at scale, underpinned by strong brand equity, systematised workflows, and clear repeatability. Our work helps investors understand where the real levers of value sit: in differentiation, delivery model design, technology enablement, and customer stickiness.

Deal Spotlight

Pagabo Group

Underpinning a Successful Investment Case for LDC

We delivered Commercial Due Diligence to support LDC’s investment in Pagabo Group, a leading procurement and technology business serving public and private organisations across the built environment.

This was our second engagement with Pagabo, following our previous CDD for Maven at the point of its original investment, giving us a long-term view of the company’s evolution, performance, and competitive position.

What we did

We focused our analysis on the core questions investors face in a scaled procurement and digital services platform:

Market Opportunity Sizing

Quantified the Group’s addressable markets across procurement, construction management, and related digital workflows

Competitive Differentiation

Assessed Pagabo’s competitive positioning, differentiation, and technology-led strengths

Customer Sentiment

Analysed customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion potential

Growth Quality & Revenue Model

Evaluated the sustainability of growth and the repeatability of the underlying revenue model

We’ve always had a strong relationship with GCS and were delighted to work alongside the team for the second time as they provided us with essential support in delivering commercial due diligence.

GCS's team has a strong understanding of our business, and their expertise in the digital technology space, as well as their analysis and insights of the market, were incredibly valuable during the whole process as we secured investment from LDC.”
