ESG & Impact

Deep Expertise

ESG has evolved into a major commercial theme as organisations adapt to regulatory pressure, rising expectations on sustainability, and greater accountability for social and governance outcomes. Many of the most attractive opportunities sit in the platforms that enable decarbonisation, compliance, reporting, social delivery, and responsible governance for others.

However, not all “impact” markets are created equal.  Investors need clarity on what is actually driving demand — regulation, cost savings, risk reduction, or genuine long-term structural change — and what is simply sentiment or short-lived political momentum.

We help investors cut through noise and ambition to back businesses where impact is inherent to the proposition and supported by clear commercial returns. Our work brings a critical, evidence-led view on which models create real economic value, deliver measurable outcomes, and have the durability to scale.

Having engaged with GCS during the commercial DD process of a successful PE fund raise and subsequently for a post investment commercial and market review, I found GCS to be elite-level operators. They have a clear and concise understanding of our business and operations and their analysis has proven to be a critical component in our operating strategy.”
