GCS supports YFM during its acquisition of Summize

GCS (formerly GRAPH Strategy) is pleased to have provided Commercial Due Diligence to YFM Equity Partners on its £5 million Series A investment in Summize, a fast-growing Contract Lifecycle Management software business based in Manchester.

Founded in 2018, Summize has developed a unique integrated CLM platform that makes contract workflows up to 85% faster by digitising and automating manual legal processes. Its solution integrates directly with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack, enabling in-house legal teams and business users to create, review, and manage contracts seamlessly within their existing systems. The platform is used by more than 100 customers worldwide, including Fujifilm, Everton FC, NCC Group, Moonpig, and The Modern Milkman.

With YFM and Maven’s backing, Summize will accelerate its international expansion—particularly into the US—while continuing to invest in product innovation, sales, and marketing. The business is well-positioned to capitalise on the rapidly growing global CLM market, forecast to exceed $3 billion by 2027.

GCS’s work focused on assessing Summize’s market opportunity, competitive landscape, customer proposition, and growth potential within the emerging legal-tech and workflow-automation space.

The GCS team on the transaction was led by James Tetherton and Nick Batchelor.
