Congratulations to LMF Energy Services on securing growth investment from Soho Square Capital

GCS (formerly, GRAPH Strategy) is pleased to have provided Vendor Commercial Due Diligence to LMF Energy Services on its investment from Soho Square Capital.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Liverpool, LMF is a leading national installer of renewable energy measures including heat pumps, solar panels, electric storage heaters and insulation. The company has delivered more than 20,000 installations to date, helping thousands of UK households improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel poverty. LMF also provides solar installations for private and commercial properties, and was recently named National Solar PV Installer of the Year by the Energy Efficiency Association for the second year running.

With Soho Square’s backing, LMF will accelerate its expansion plans, supporting delivery under upcoming government energy efficiency schemes, while broadening its private solar, commercial and social housing services.

GCS carried out a full VCDD review for the transaction, assessing LMF’s market position, growth prospects and operational capabilities, alongside the opportunities created by increasing demand for energy efficiency improvements across the UK.

The GCS team on the transaction was led by James Tetherton and Matt Harrison, working alongside Chris Foran and the team at LMF.

“We were delighted to support Chris and the LMF team through this important milestone. LMF has built an impressive platform in renewable energy installation, with a strong reputation for quality and impact, and Soho Square’s investment will enable the business to scale further at a critical time for the UK energy transition.”
