GCS advises Three Hills on its investment in LCap Group

GCS (formerly, GRAPH Strategy) is pleased to have provided Commercial Due Diligence to Three Hills on its investment into LCap Group, the London-based Leadership Advisory & Analytics firm.

Established in 2003, LCap has built a strong reputation in the private equity sector, serving high-growth and PE-backed businesses as well as private credit and equity investors. The Group goes to market under several distinct brands: Drax (executive search, consulting and analytics for PE-backed companies), Rowan (search for founder-owned and early-stage growth companies), and Altus (recruitment services for private credit and equity firms).

Three Hills has invested £32.5 million to support LCap’s expansion strategy, enabling the company to pursue an active M&A programme and broaden its international footprint.

GCS’s work on the transaction focused on assessing LCap’s market position, client base and growth potential, as well as the scalability of its proprietary analytics platform and the opportunities created by its buy-and-build strategy.

The GCS team on the transaction was led by James Tetherton and Nick Batchelor, working alongside Graham Roadnight and the team at LCap, as well as the investment team at Three Hills.

“We were delighted to support Three Hills on its investment into LCap. The company has built a differentiated platform in leadership advisory and analytics, and the deal will provide resources to accelerate growth both organically and through further acquisitions.”
