GCS supports Everfield on its acquisition of field services software provider Depotnet

GCS (formerly, GRAPH Strategy) is pleased to have provided Commercial Due Diligence to Everfield on its acquisition of Depotnet, a leading UK field service and work order management software provider.
Headquartered in Warwickshire, Depotnet supports telecoms, utilities and infrastructure companies with its cloud-based software platform. The solution enables customers to manage job workflows, reinstatement, audits and inspections, fleet and plant, and wider commercial processes. Its client base includes Openreach, Kier Construction, CityFibre and MJ Quinn.
The acquisition represents a major milestone for Depotnet and strengthens Everfield’s portfolio of B2B software businesses. With Everfield’s backing, Depotnet will accelerate product development, scale its team and broaden its reach across existing and new markets while continuing to be led by Managing Director Holly Dalby and Director Darren Bridge.
GCS’s work on the transaction focused on evaluating Depotnet’s market position, customer relationships and competitive differentiation, as well as the scalability of its software platform and opportunities for growth in core infrastructure markets.
The GCS team on the transaction was led by James Tetherton and Matt Harrison, working alongside James Moore (Acquisitions Manager, Everfield) and the wider teams at Everfield and Depotnet.
This engagement highlights GCS’s expertise in vertical software, supporting investors on acquisitions that combine strong technology platforms with deep sector specialism.
“We were delighted to support Everfield on its acquisition of Depotnet. The business has built a robust platform with strong traction in telecoms and utilities, and Everfield’s investment will enable the team to accelerate growth and deliver even greater value to its customers.”
