GCS supports LDC with CDD during its investment in UniHomes

GCS (formerly, GRAPH Strategy) is pleased to have provided Commercial Due Diligence to LDC on its minority investment in UniHomes, the UK student accommodation advertising platform.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Sheffield, UniHomes connects students with thousands of all-inclusive rental properties across 41 locations nationwide. The platform enables letting agents to integrate directly with their back-office systems, generating enquiries to fill portfolios and simplifying the search for student tenants looking for “home from home” accommodation.
LDC’s investment will support UniHomes as it accelerates its regional growth strategy, enhances its technology platform, and expands services for both letting agents and students. The business has grown rapidly in recent years to become a trusted partner across the student housing market.
GCS’s work on the transaction included a full-scope CDD review, assessing UniHomes’ market position, customer value proposition, growth potential, and technology-enabled scalability.
The GCS team on the transaction was led by James Tetherton and Matt Harrison, working alongside Dan Smith (Partner and Head of Yorkshire), James Marshall (Investment Director), and Ana-Maria Garaba (Investment Manager) at LDC.
“We were delighted to support LDC on its investment in UniHomes. The company has established itself as a leader in student accommodation advertising, and the partnership with LDC will provide a strong foundation for its next phase of growth.”
