Totalmobile acquires Cognito IQ with support from GCS

GCS (formerly GRAPH Strategy) is pleased to have provided Commercial Due Diligence to Totalmobile on its acquisition of Cognito iQ, a leading provider of workforce analytics and real-time performance management software.
Headquartered in Newbury, Cognito iQ enables large and complex organisations to manage operational data more effectively — providing actionable insights that drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Its technology is used by major clients including Hermes, Transport for London, and Argos, supporting real-time visibility across logistics, transport, and service delivery.
The acquisition adds a best-in-class analytics layer to Totalmobile’s comprehensive Field Service Management (FSM) suite, expanding its capabilities in workforce optimisation and control-room analytics. Cognito iQ’s platform will be rebranded as Totalmobile Analyse, enhancing the company’s ability to serve over 1,000 existing customers across sectors such as government, health and social care, housing, and infrastructure.
GCS’s work focused on assessing Cognito iQ’s market positioning, customer value proposition, scalability, and growth outlook within the rapidly evolving FSM and analytics software landscape.
The GCS team on the transaction was led by James Tetherton and Matt Harrison.
